Message from the Founder
Founder
There comes a time when one must find the courage to speak up when others remain silent, and the determination to act when fear holds people back. I have always believed that true education must instil in our students the wisdom to distinguish right from wrong and the courage to follow their conscience rather than mere convenience.
My vision has always been to provide a clean, safe and nurturing environment where teachers can teach to the best of their ability and students can learn, grow and flourish. I believe that schools are not merely institutions of academic learning; they are places where character is shaped, values are nurtured and futures are built.
As the Founder of Sunrise English Medium School, I wanted every child to have the opportunity to excel, not only in core academic subjects but also in the diverse fields of co-curricular activities. My dream was to create an educational environment where students would always come first, their potential would be recognised, and their aspirations would be encouraged.
I am deeply proud that the seeds sown more than five decades ago have blossomed into a flourishing institution. Today, Sunrise stands as a testament to that vision, extending the light of education to more than 2,000 students, from Lower Nursery to Class XII, with the dedication of over 80 qualified and experienced staff members.
The achievements of our ICSE and ISC students are a source of immense satisfaction, reflecting the commitment of our teachers and the perseverance of our learners. The progress of this institution has been made possible by the collective efforts of its staff, students, management and parents, all of whom have contributed to its growth and success.
My dream for Sunrise has never been limited to academic excellence alone. I have always hoped that our students would grow into responsible, compassionate and courageous individuals who stand for truth, act with integrity and contribute meaningfully to society.
As Sunrise moves forward into a new era, I hope that the values on which it was founded will continue to guide every step. May the school always remain a place where knowledge illuminates minds, character strengthens hearts, and every child is given the opportunity to discover their true potential.
The institution I envisioned is now a living legacy. May the light of Sunrise continue to shine brightly for generations to come.
